Hey folks, time to tap the collective wisdom on rust treatment. I see that there are 2 good/popular ways to treat the repair of a rusty panel -- POR-15 and Corroless. I've heard lots of good and bad about POR-15, but heard less about Corroless. Would anyone with experience with Corroless please come forward with your results? I don't like the idea of 'annual' bodywork, so I would like to use the best stuff I can get to do it once and not worry about it for a few years. Or decades. ;-) Since I will be removing the interior panels, what is good for treating the back side of the seams? I could spray in an oil/wax substance but I don't really want to do it every 6 months. If there is a better, more permanent product out there I want to hear about it. Also, last on the list, the vinyl that is glued on the interior between the windows is peeling off and is seriously discolored. Has anyone replaced it, and what was the experience like? Thanks all, now I will sit in front of my computer for a while, eagerly awaiting any responses. Bill Marshall 85 GL Tiico "Pandora's Box" Aurora, IL |
