While we are on the subject..... does this apply to non wbx motors? ( like my 52 degree 1800 I4 that occasionally take a little while to get oil pressure up in the morning?) Bill M 82 GL

The problem with filters is that most don't have suficient internal spring pressure to maintain the oil in the galleries of the engine when it is shut down. This often results in the "clattering lifter" syndrome that plagues the WBX engine. |
