Greetings Listees, We got our H&R Springs installed on our 87 Westy, and are very happy campers. We were concerned about it looking like a kids car (last thing we needed) as well as concerned the ground clearance, tire clearance and ride would suck. We were pleasantly surprised when we picked up. It's definitely lower, but not "slammed", and if one didn't park next to a stock one, I bet you wouldn't even notice. We sure noticed the difference on our windy drive up the valley home. It handles like night and day, and the fear of this top-heavy feeling springy thing have all been relieved. It's ride reminds of us our old 96 850 turbo wagon. It has some bounce on the front, but the mechanic said the shocks were bad. Some bilsteins are on the way. So, just wanted to let you all know who want to do the conversion.. that are a bit afraid about it... that it worked well for us!
