I've always found that tying one or two of the Sacramento listees to the bumpers makes a nice cushy collision zone. I tried Mike Miller but he is just too bony. Pensioner is probably more like it. Now there's the (tow) hitch. Ya gotta catch them first. Elusive those fellas.

Seriously now, I bought some bumper shocks for a Porsche 928 for the kingly sum of $2 for all four. With shipping, it was still under $15. I plan on having someone fabricate a mount for the rear in place of the Sacramento Listee. It'd be less messy and easily replaceable.

I thought of using the inner bumper from an A2 Scirocco and use a plastic bumper from a 90-92 Jetta. It's a bit narrow but can fit with some work and a second bumper. Then again, I could be just planning another unfinished project. My present Italian (rubber stripless) bumpers look fantabulous. No dings yet.
