I'd be considering vapor lock too.  That's when the fuel  in the line gets
interrupted by a bubble of fuel fuel vapor caused by heat.  It's not
supposed to happen in injected engines due to high fuel pressure and the
constant return to the tank of hot fuel to be replaced by cool, but I
wouldn't rule it out.    The test would be for appropriate fuel pressure at
the injectors.

Try a different brand of gas too.  Maybe your stll getting the "winter mix"
with a lower vaporization pressure.

haven't done that, only 'cause i've been by myself each time its happened.
