Since you mention this: after installing the oil cooler on my Syncro, I notice that the adapter puts the oil filter higher up in the engine bay, further out of the way of gravel, etc., and a little easier to get to for maintenance. Bob Stevens '87 Syncro Westy http://groups.msn.com/BobsPhotoShare
