It should be noted...The 84 Wolfsburg, which is a full camper, has PS, tach, nice interior AND two-tone paint (beige on brown = chocolate dipped peanut as my gf calls it).

'85 is the best for me. Cheaper than last few years. Most had PS, tach, NO oil buzzer issues!, simpler to tune DIgijet FI system, 1.9s are more bullet-proof (with a little less power), Round headlights are better! Brakes are a little wimpier. Exhaust systems are cheaper. Some coolant hoses may be harder to find in the future. Just a few things off the top of my head. No more two-tone paint jobs and nice interiors.
