My girlfriend and I have spent months at a time living/traveling in our
van.  Our Sun Shower helps tremendously.  You can find Sun Showers at
most outdoor and camping stores.  They're cheap and do the job well if
you have some sun.  You can also check out the products at
http://www.zodi.com.  No personal experience but have met a few people
that like them.

You're right, state parks and truck stops work.  YMCA is also a good
option.  Oh, baby wipes/Hoo Ahhhs are a nice option for a quick fresh'n
up.

  I've been living in my '87 for a couple of months now full-time,
travelling around the western US.  Almost every CA State Park with
camping has a shower, a lot of truck stops have showers, I've considered
joining a national health club chain for the showers.  Sometimes you can
beg or buy a shower from a sympathetic local.
  Where have you found a shower?  Are there unplumbed shower resources
of which I am unaware?
