On long-term camping trips where showers may be unavailable, I carry one or two 5-gallon water containers. During the day the water gets warm enough and at night I take a shower.. anywhere I want to. Before you get any visuals.. hehe.. I wear fashionable multi-purpose exersize shorts made from moisture-wicking and quick-drying material. Use the old navy technique of sprinkle-soap-rinse.

Also, I found out that the new high-tech performance wear is by far the best to wear when camping. My shirts do not absorb water like cotton, they wash out easily and dry quickly. Same for socks, shorts and pants. I can basically camp with two sets of clothes. I wash one set and dry it in the day while wearing the other.
