Should I get a new one? Am I way off base?? > This is a very interesting question. If in fact the ECU does get hot ---- I have never checked mine that way - it is not reasonable to mount a fan on it somehow. The CPU's on todays computers have both radiating fins for heat disapation and fans mounted on them. Why not the V-gon ECU? Expecially if they do get warm/hot sitting under that back seat with no circulating air!!

Anybody???
