I've wondered about the same thing - I had thought about putting it on the inside of the plastic distribution tower above the starter. There is a flat end that could be easilly tapped.


I suppose you could also get a short length of metal pipe and install the sender in that, and just splice that with one of the larger coolant hoses.


What about using one of the water jacket drain plugs?
