I have both a hula girl (Wahine) and a hula man (Kane) on my dash, both
father's day gifts from my daughter.  I have them glued into the drink
holder slot on one of the Vanagon dash accessories.  I've bought and
sold many a van in recent years but the dash accessory and the hula
people always go to the new van.  This dash accessory has been discussed
on the list, they do turn up occasionally for sale. It has a drink
holder on each side and a number of squarish dishes for change, pencils,
yo-yo's and so forth.

Ok this might be off in the left field, but it is important stuff. I
have a hula girl in my Westy (like all good Westies should). And it
won't stick to the dash. I have cleaned the area with alcohol then
stuck her on..... few weeks later bam poor hula is lying on the ground.
I keep changing out the tape on the bottom with double stick super
adhesive tape.
Has any one come across this?
