Some of you might get a kick out of this...

My 90 Carat has been very well behaved. The slight hessitation when cold has left w/ hotter weather and my only coolant leak was a bad thermostat housing. Because of this, I've been living in fear of it dying on my out of spite.

It did, kinda.

On my way out for food last night she started sounding 'funny', almost like it was loping a little. Fear. Goiing around corners it just 'didn't feel right' but sounded normal and drove fine. On the way back she starts feeling like she has less power. There is a vibration on the floor which seems like the radiator fan, but I can't hear it and the van's running at normal temp (just below the LED). Halfway home and she definately is low on power. FEAR. It's almost like she's starved for fuel. Water in the gas? Plugged line?

Closer to home now and she just dies, sputtering softly as I coast off the road less than .5 mile from my house. NOW I look down and see the gas needle lying limply at the bottom of the guage. Oops!

I guess it could have been worse!

john
