Subject: Re: Group discount - Vanagon high tops

Yes, this offer is for the shell only as a part.

The shell is double layer, and it includes operable side windows/screens, exterior trim, and interior lights. It does not include a skylight (available as an option at additional cost -- otherwise, top will be solid fiberglass). It does not include any interior trim (that means no door on the cabover storage area). It does not include any upper bunk items (just the shell).

The greater the customization (more vendor-installed options), the more time must go into making it, so the greater the price. The idea here is to mass-produce the tops as inexpensively as possible, while meeting the *essential* needs of the greatest number of buyers. Anything additional the buyers want to do to customize the shell, they can do themselves at home... Beyond this point, all 7 buyers will likely have completely different visions of the ideal end result. It's human nature -- though I suspect we Vanagon owners are at the far end of the bell curve in this respect!

Any other questions, let me know. Thanks! ~Vee
