Got my AT back in, and fluid finally filled up to the correct level. Now it moves off from idle quite nicely in both forward and reverse. However, it will not shift to 2nd. at high speeds if I lift off the gas, it freewheels unless I put it in "1". Could this be the adjustment or operation of the 2nd gear brake piston? The other thing is that it looks like there might be a fine mist of fluid spraying off of the torque converter. And the other thing is that it seems quite hot. If I feel the pan on the bottom it feels pretty hot. Hotter than I remember it being. Could just be my perception. Thanks for any ideas. Edward |
