Subject: Plugs, gas cap, stuff, etc...
Hit the FLAPS yesterday, picked up spark plugs, wires, rotor, distro cap,
marvel mystery oil, assorted fuses, hose clamps, air filter, techron, duct
tape and a can of WD-40... getting ready for the weekend lol...
What is the gap for the spark plugs? Are they gasket or no gasket? What
is
the small metal part that came in the box with the plugs? It seems to screw
onto the end of the plug that goes into the engine... Also, does anyone
have a
list of part numbers for all the bulbs? and/or a brand and part number for
a
locking gas cap? I looked through the books at the FLAPS but there wasn't
even a Vanagon listed under 1985 VW's... Also... looking to replace my cig
lighter, anyone have a HELP part number that fits an 85 Vanagon? What
about
the steering wheel cover? any suggestions on a brand/model?
I'd also like to clean the seats, they're covered in that tan courderoy
material, any suggestions? What about a good carpet cleaner? Is this
enough
questions for a Wednesday morning?
TIA for all the assistance,
David (Perpetual Newbie)
