Ceramic coatings have been around for a long time ................ the Mystery is wearing a little thin now. Previously these coatings were Acetone based and had to be applied by professional shops. I still have about nine products that require controlled baking and are considered EPA hazardous material in the hands of do it yourself folks. This opened some doors for me since my oven / kiln would not accept anything longer than 28 inches. I can coat headers and large pieces now without investing 10K $ in a bigger oven.
