I've reconsidered the situation;
The Crown Vic is in the shop for a new A/C compressor, Accumulator and
R134 conversion.
The Porsche is in the shop being painted.
The Ford Explorer that my nephew abandoned here 55 days ago when he got a
2001 Jetta has blown a torque converter seal.
I've got to pick up materials to build a 10x20 Storage building and I'll
need the Smosemobile land yacht a little longer.
We could open discussion on how to convert a 86 Olds 350 cid to a FI
system.
I don't know anybody local to loan me a Vanagon to haul my heavy building
materials.
I would never take the simple route and just have them delivered
.............. just way too easy.

If I send my Oldsmobile to you will you burn it for me.
It's been a good car for 167K but it's now just a $700.00 note lot car.
I'd like to get about $3000.00 from the insurance company.

Watched an Olds today go up in flames. Couldn't have been anything
else
but fuel lines.. Fire started under the hood, and once it got going
it
was a hot one. Fire department came and put it out. Car was in a
drive-up snack shop. Guy went inside, came out started engine....
whummp!! Instant fire all over the place.
Check those fuel lines!!!!!
It must be the season... A nice silver mercedes convertible went
up in flames downtown on wednesday. We were approaching an
intersection
and the car was on the other side, nose end in the driveway of a
gas
station. Flames were just pouring out of the hood area...
The fire department was only a block away, but by the time they got
there and put it out it was probably totalled.
Check those fuel lines!!!!!
Pop Quiz...
*Do you have a good fire extinguisher in your van?*
I have one in every vehicle I own and several spread around the
house
and garage. They are SO cheap compared to the cost of a fire....
I've never had to use an extinguisher on any of my own vehicles,
but I used one to put out a nice lady's VW beetle in Oakland in
about 1980, and again used one to extinguish a chevy camaro
in Santa Rosa about 10 years ago.
Don't leave home without it folks! You never know when you'll
need it
