I have fixed mine 3 times but the drive wheel was just too loose so I had it rebuilt at Speedo Tack. I cost me only $89 which was a surprise since they quoted $140 for a rebuild. Since it is a hassle getting the speedo out and in (I've done it 3 times) I chose this time to have it professionally rebuilt. Worth the effort. William
