Hi folks, Does anyone have an argument against disconnecting the "dynamic oil pressure sensor" with all its lights and buzzers, and using a single sender VDO gauge instead? I have not trusted the original system on my 88 GL since I got it, now with a new speedo, tons of spliced wires in the engine bay, and at least one bad pressure sender. I think I'd rather just interpret actual numbers, than to be unsure whether I've got bad wires, bad senders, or bad oil pressure. If I end up pursuing this course, does anyone know where to get a single VDO gauge sender- doesn't seem like the list vendors are carrying them. thanks for any input -Matt Sutton 88GL |
