that is a point, that there is more friction with dino oil which causes heat... and yet dino oil is a coolant... and then synthetic has less friction and less cooling... so a mix of both could be ideal.. but if it were, racers, offroad racers would be doing this already... and if it were ideal there would be an ideal proportion...

then too with racing, is there a build up in heat around the bearings more so than in normal driving... to a degree that dino makes a difference, where the amount of friction heat build up requires dino oil cooling, and though with synthetic there is less friction, there is still enough that without dino oil cooling the bearings suffer.

so under normal street driving will my bearings last longer with dino oil ala kendall or synthetic...

mobile one, redline... are 15w50, and 15w50 or 20w50 (redline offers both)

kendall, a great organic oil, also makes a synthetic which is 5w50... has anyone tried this yet... I'm wondering if it would/could cause oil pressure problems...
