i still find it interesting that when i first posted the above subject line
above, starting this horrendous thread, i stated that audi wheels (the 45mm
5x112 variety used on the mid to late 80's turbo, turbo quattros - which were the
ones that i test fitted to my buddy's '93 EV ) -  i stated  that they were a
direct bolt on for the EUROVAN..  his '93. thats the only FYI i was trying to
get across.  i never said they were a direct bolt on for the vanagon.   i was
talking about the eurovan, not the vanagon. somehow this thread morphed into a
vanagon wheel fitment thread.   im sure by now most listers know they will
fit the vanagon, also, but with some machining.  thanks to Steve Lashley for
clearing it up about the '97 up EV's with the bigger brakes, that i was unaware
of.
