Subject: How do you fix the heater controls?/ Also need seat uphol
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Dear Vanagurus,

I have an 88 Vanagon GL that the PO screwed up the heater/defroster controls. I have looked inside tha dash and some cables appear to be missing. All I know is that I cannot adjsut anything and BLAZING heat burns off my legs when I drive! H-E-L-P me fix this thing! Can anyone supply a scan of a cable diagram and or the steps to replace these or position levers in a way that heat will not pour out? Please reply via personal e-mail. Also, I am looking to buy a rear (engine area) upholstery cover. Mine is stained pretty badly. The interior on my Van is grey. It is a GL model with standard 8 passenger seating. I would also love to find a clean rear carpet for my Van. Any parts guys out there? Who should I buy floor mats from? Thanks a million you Vanagurus! Thanks.
