The filler neck is different. I'm not sure about the tank. Even if they are different, though, adapting a gas tank to diesel shouldn't be hard -- the diesel fuel system is pretty simple. If you use a gas filler neck you'll have to remove the unleaded restrictor, and you won't get the ability to fill from 2" diameter truck nozzles, though. ;)
