rack bars: try your gas company. if you see a gas utility worker, ask him if he knows if there's any unused short lengths of steel, plastic coated one inch gas pipe. the plastic coating gives it the extra thickness you want. it will be yellow. these short lengths are perfect for your rack but unusable and just get junked because of unusable lengths.
