Subject: dash mounted rear view mirror? - use a blind spot instead
Comments: To: dave@DAVE-BOWERS.COM

well how much good is a rear view mirror if your curtains are up anyway...

I have a 3 inch round blind spot mirror on/in the outside bottom corner of each side mirror, and a small rectangular blind spot mirror next to it, between the round and the body... or on the inside corner but not all together at the bottom, no its top is even with the top of the three inch round... and the side mirror itself is adjusted to optimize the rectangular while the side mirror itself doesn't show any of the vanagon body unless I lean toward the mirror...

I like it better than the 3 inch round by itself... the rectangular one has a filmic feel to it, just a wee larger image to it, and less distortion, while the 3 inch has a broader view

I tried a quarter of a 6.5 inch round - didn't like this... - the sides, the straight sides, were too thick and black, took up too much of the mirror, robbed it of light... looked guady...

Saw someone with a 3 3/4 round in the bottom outside corners... never tried this...
