At about 100,000 miles my '87 started to have noisy lifters. A mechanic told me to use GUNK Valve Medic. Now when I change the oil I put in a bottle. If I am going to let it set for an extended period of time I put one in before and drive it for a while. Now I rarely have any noise and when I do another bottle makes it go away. I am superstitious so I won't tell you how many miles I have on an original engine. Knocking on wood. Chuck |
