Two possibilities. First, remove the mirror, lube the stud on the bottom if necessary, and tighten it. It will either tighten up and be fine or, if too far gone, break. If it breaks, go to plan B. The list vendors sell new German side mirrors (not powered) for $25. $50 for a wide angle one.
