This black wire is for the fridge light , the fourth one down on the left of the LED display. If you don't have this fourth light down, then that would explain why the wire is hanging free. It is attached to the thermocouple which when opened, closes the switch that activates the fridge light. If you do have four LED lights on the left side of the LED panel, then the other end of the black wire plugs into a connector coming out of the main harness. Robert 1982 Westfalia

No lights, ect during operation. Just the pilot hole at the inside bottom left. On the front from the left there is the pump, then there is a push in button with a hand symbol (index finger pointing). This button on the inside metal valve part has a black wire connected to it. On the other end of the wire is a spade connector which is just hanging free. Any ideas what this goes to?? Should it have power or ground? I suspect ground, but that goes against the other wires in the setup. 2) Reading the vanagon.com site they talk about a small battery operated fan to put inside the fridge to blow down on the coils. Where can I get one? I have looked at camping world and saw no listing. By the way this is a fridge ouy of a westy that I am fitting in my Syncro GL. That is the reason for the wire Questions.
