Volks, The idle problems detailed earlier still exist albeit intermittently since replacing the throttle position switch. I noticed that the throttle body was fairly worn-out. The shaft threw it wobbles a bit and the cam that controls the throttle position switch is so worn that I had to adjust the new switch by bending the spring steel actuator about as far as is possible to meet the cam on the throttle body. This may be the reason for the occasional hunting experienced while idling, a new problem. Any other ideas for idle problems? Any sources for new throttle bodies? Mike |
