Well I am working on my first Eurovan (a 93) and I am having a fun time with it. First problem, it would not start. Found a bad hall sender and fixed that problem. However now that it does start it won't idle. I am not sure what to adjust to get the idle straightened out. It has an idle stabilizer valve like a Vanagon however it doesn't hum or buzz when you turn on the key like the vanagon version. Is this normal or is this thing toast? I have the Bentley for the Eurovan and it is better than nothing but it mainly talks about how to troubleshoot things with the VW computers and tools hooked up to the van. I actually have a 1552 emulator, but before I get too crazy I thought I would like to talk to someone who has worked on these before. It is a 5 cylinder 2.5l. I know this is almost off topic for the Vanagon list so if you want to answer me via pmail that would be fine.
