First up I wouldn't call these people morons or stupid, merely uneducated.
I deal with people missing services, or serviceing their car late, all the
time.  Most people treat the car the way they treat their microwave etc.
Don't care about it until it stops.  That said I just noticed my car is
3000km overdue for it's service!  But I have been trying for the last 6
weeks to service it.
