John, you need to give more info on the rims. All of the genuine Mercedes wheels should have the offset or "ET" stamped or molded into them along with the rim width and diameter. Look for numbers like 7J16H ET51. The numbers after the ET are the offset. Newer Mercedes wheels are mostly made with an ET number too large for 2wd vanagons and the tires will rub up front if they can turn at all. ET20-25 works fine for wheels up to 7" wide but the tire size can make a difference too. You will almost certainly need to make the lug holes a larger diameter and you will need longer studs and lug bolts. The length will depend on the thickness of spacers you need. This will depend on rim ET number and tire size you choose.
