Subject:      TDI In a vanagon?
Content-Type: text/html; charset="us-ascii"

Greetings Listees,

As you probably remember, we just finished a tiico install in our westy and are very happy with it.

We just added the newest baby to the family, a charcoal grey 2003 TDI Beetle GLS, and the bioDiesel get's delivered tomorrow. We just sold off our Prius, as we were still having to put gasoline in it. The TDI is getting 50mpg, with a 700 mile range per tank.We're so excited to be able to be using an alternative fuel source, so as not to perpetuate or participate in the oiligarchy that runs our country. The torque is tremendous, and they will run B100 biodiesel without any mods.

Luckily we live close to a very progressive area to get our BioDiesel for $2.53 a gallon. Eugene.

Now, everyone is asking, why didn't you put a TDI in the westy? Damn! I didn't know how! I remember seeing Sunny had a TDI in that fine yellow syncro. Anyone else done a TDI conversion yet? Wasn't there someone working on a kit?

<x-sigsep>
</x-sigsep> Ri, Glen & the River Clan

87 Tiico Westy
67 Singlecab
03 TDI BioBeetle
=================
Oregon Coast
