I have an FM broadcaster, which works when needed. But, you sometimes get FM bleed from a local station. A direct connect will give the best sound.

I am quite surprised there there are only a couple of aftermarket car stereos with an MP3 jack (which could be used for CD/Tape player as well). MP3 players have been out for several years now. - Duane
