NO, NO, NO. Don't saw the posts off! I made this mistake before. The posts are actually 2 pieces of lead, an inner piece and a "cap" piece. If you saw off the post you will open up the crevice in-between these 2 pieces and acid will escape ruining the battery. BTDT.

While ive got your attention, ive still got a vanagon propane tank for sale. As well as lots of parts from an 87 Westy (Westy Interior gone) im parting out. Email me with requests/prices.
