I know this thread is supposed to be dead, but...

I just wanted to publicly thank George for saving me a bunch of money. An honest dealer just admitted that the Element does only safely carry 675 pounds of people and stuff.

To me, this seems to be a serious design flaw. The interior is designed to hold 4 adults with plenty of headroom and legroom. The seats can be removed to hold "cargo".

Thanks George! I was very close to buying an Element, but now I'm definitely pulling back. - Duane
