Ah, a perfect post, one day premature. Both informative (I may try the SeaFoam) and hilarious (the Vette videos).

Thanks,

Volks,

Has anyone tried a engine cleaning product named SeaFoam? I've been a long time user and believer in Marvel Mystery Oil but this past weekend I found myself at a Thortons gas station wanting to buy some injector cleaner to use with my next fillup. Taking a pass on the usual fare, I found a can of SeaFoam on the shelf. I'd heard of it before and was impressed with its informative label so I bought it. Poured in the entire can prior to filling up. I wasn't really expecting any noticeable results as the Westy has been running pretty good. I just felt it was time for a cleaning. Well, I must say I was very impressed almost immediately. The Idle seemed much smoother, acceleration much easier and healthy and I swear it was running cooler than normal.

Today I did a little research on the product. I thought I would share a few interesting links with you and ask for opinions on usage or experience with this product. I'm impressed and I'm going to pick up some more this afternoon including their spray lubricant/cleaner.

A video and some interesting posts on a Vette list. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=417821

Thoughts?
