$99 is a good deal on a red optima. Costco also carries the blue optima's.

FYI, RED - Normal automotive starting battery YELLOW - Deep cycle BLUE - Marine (starting battery tolerate of some deep cycling)

I have a yellow top for my 2nd/house battery and love it. I've heard dozens for first hand reports of users loving the batteries, but have heard several interstate battery reps and sales people bad mouth them, claiming a high warranty return rate and problems. Armando's report is the first I've heard from an actual user disliking them and am serious what problems you/he had with it?
