They'd have to -- the only other thing I can think of is roadways within large states: 87 (a/k/a the NY Thruway); 88 (Albany <-> Binghamton: only a couple of hours, but boy is it monotonous); whatever it is that runs the length of California. Although come to think of it, the question was probably aimed at the interstate(s) in Hawaii.
