I was test wiring up my fridge and was wondering about that same thing. I ended up running a positive lead to both the brown and the black and ran a negative lead to the blue. I think the black lead runs to the actual refrigerator/heater/boiler and the brown one goes to a solenoid. In any case it did work when I wired it up that way.

I am in the process of wireing in a westy fridge to my Syncro GL. Question on the 12V hook up. I'm looking at the manual and it appears the Black is Posative, Blue is Negative (-), and I don't know what the brown wire does??? Any help is appreciated.
