There is more than one version of the Westy fridge. The best approach is to look at the wiring diagram label on the top of the fridge as the Bentley has some errors regarding the wiring arrangements. What year did the fridge come out of?

The most common fridge setup has a 3 wire connector and a separate 1 wire. The 1 lone wire is for the flame on signal to the led panel and does not affect operation. (the A/C cord is self explanatory)

The other wires are a ground wire, a 12 volt wire, and the last one is for the fridge relay that controls the 12 volt heating element. The most common fridges connect the last wire to the fridge relay under the driver's seat and only allow the fridge to draw high current when the engine is running. Early fridges have this relay AS PART OF THE FRIDGE so the third wire is the signal wire that triggers the relay when the engine is running.

For the more common fridges the wires coming out FROM the fridge are: brown = +12 for fan black = +12 for 12 volts heating element (from 12 volt heating element relay) blue = ground (for the above 12 volts)

If you have a relay mounted on the top of the fridge then you have an early model. brown = +12 for fan and 12 volts heating element black = +12 to turn on 12 volt heating element relay (from alternator blue lead) blue = ground
