Well, the list works for me. The little gear slid on the shaft just out of
the worm gears reach. I pushed it back and put a dab of glue with a hot glue
gun. What was really disturbing was that when I got the whole gauge assembly back
in, the temp gauge, tach, oil light, etc. would not work. It seems the rather
weak connector to the printed circuit was at fault. I had to play with it and
reinsert it several times before I got it all to work. And you can't push to
hard on the connector or you might break the plastic it's attached to. And I
thought the odometer was going to be a Bitch.
