daryl:

i have a question for you.

most gear oil today is labeled GL5 and, other things being equal, i suppose a good GL4 oil by stalube or redline is a better choice for a vanagon. what about NAPA gear oil, which is labeled as meeting GL3, GL4, and GL5 specs; are they refering only to its EP spec, or would this particular oil also be less corrosive than ordinary GL5 to yellow metals?
