Subject: O22D ECU for sale
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi all,

I have a O22D ECU available. It was in a Vanagon that had 97,000 miles on it, but it's a 1987 Vanagon so this must be a low mile replacement ECU. Here are the numbers from the sticker:

BOSCH 0 261 200 284 Made in Germany DF 1 Digifant I 025 906 022 D

Thank you to the fellow Vanagon fan that made me aware of the uniqueness of this ECU (I thought it was just your everyday average ECU):

"Just to let you know, the 022D ECU was used after @1990. It is HIGHLY sought after as it is the ONLY Vanagon ECU that will support the various upgrade eprom chips for the Vanagon. This one is from around 1995. You should get at least $300 to $400 for the ECU. I would guess, unless there is a reciept, it was bought to fix a problem and has a lot less mileage of the ECU. I sold one for $400 because it had less than a year of actual run time."

Thanks to Robert for the heads up.

If anyone is interested let me know ASAP because it will go to ebay if there is no interest at the end of the week.
