We insulated the box on mine and it isnt THAT hot. <grin> Well, it is hot enough to melt the stuff that was in the cooler behind the engine this weekend ... The heat in there is a problem, and it gets worse under load on the highway, to ease the heat a little it I fabbed a mandrel bent intake pipe running down from the carb, out of the engine bay to the front of the bus with a fatty filter head at the end. Much better. It was almost like it created a vacuum before.
