Even more important I can now take 50 hours of "Coast to Coast AM" shows on one MP3 CD and listen to UFO nuts and conspiracy theorists literally from coast to coast if I drive fast enough!

And to stir the OS pot, I think Linux surpassed Apple on number of desktops in use a few months ago. I still use Win to run Pegasus email, but that's my final reason, and I hear it runs fine under WINE, so I may dump Win2K soon, which would free up a good athlon box for a real, stable OS. I do run a Linux KDE desktop on one monitor to my right, and an X session from my good old server paul on the Win monitor on my left using KeaX, a great X server. I have 7 linux servers in the living room, but that's another story. :)
