You might want to look into the Honda 2000 generator. The Honda can be converted to run on propane. (www.propane-generators.com), but I'm unsure if this is a good idea or not... propane has less energy, but also produces less pollution. On the other hand, I hate the idea of carrying around "extra" cans of gas for the generator. The other major advantage of the Honda is that it is very quite. It's also expensive. The cheapest I've found it is around $850.

Where and how are you gonna mount the AC?
