Well, I have put off the inevitable long enough, I need a new
transmission for my 83 Watercooled Van, Auto unfortunately.

Does anyone know WHICH transmissions will fit the bill ?  I am thinking
a rebuilt tranny would be fine, I just havent got a clue which will
"fit" without too much headache.
Anyone have recommendations ? Where to buy ?
