This one from Max Wellhouse: Bob: 3M makes a Roloc Tool for your electric drill called an "Adhesive and pin striping removal" tool. It's a bunch of white plastic discs that flex when pressured at high speed. They work wonderfully. Less than $15 for the whole kit and available at most any larger auto body parts place. Dimwitted Moose and Flying Squirrel

...and this one from Terry: This is how I remove vinyl lettering off the doors of Semi's prior to paint--- 3-M makes a soft solid rubber wheel you fit on a supplied arbor, and chuck into your drill---

Take the wheel and balst over the lettering and it's gone. BUT--this is for a smooth surface---not the stippled finish of a Westy pop top- You may mess up the grained finish of the top---

Get out your hair dryer, or heat gun, warm the lettering up--and peel it off---

If there is any glue residue left--mineral spirits will remove that without attacking the paint. And you'll be able to put new sticker's where they were if you want--do not use WD-40 to remove the glue--you'll never be able to get anything to stick where you used it--
